Project information

The new Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple is built on a bluff on the edge of the Daybreak development in South Jordan, Utah. This temple is clad in Uinta Cold granite in honed and river washed finishes.

It is the first LDS Temple project to incorporate a darker colored stone. The stone work began in November 2007 and was completed May 2009 More than 11,300 cubic feet of stone were used. In additional, the project also includes Wyndam Gray and Classic Gray for the paving.
